Targeting A Dream was founded in February 2005 and formally incorporated on March 11, 2005 in the State of Maryland. The organization received its' 501(c)(3) nonprofit status from the Internal Revenue Service in 2007.
Our Mission
Targeting A Dream exists to increase public awareness of issues affecting all members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and Queer/Questioning community, in the Baltimore/Washington, D.C. metropolitan region. We carry out this mission through the provision of community education programs, scholarships to individuals and grants to nonprofit organizations who provide services, advocacy and/or leadership for the LGBTQ community.
